If you have a PGP/GPG "key" that hasn't had a new signature on it for the last year or so, time to dust it off and attend a meeting. If you don't have a key, (and don't know why you might want one) head on over to the the Gnu Privacy Guard FAQ page for some reasons why it's a good thing to have.
Generally, I will be on hand to sign your key(s), and ask that you do the same in return. The recommended method is to post your "key" to a public server, and print your "fingerprint" on a business card or regular paper cut into strips. At the meeting, we will exchange fingerprints and verify, as needed, that each of us is who we say we are. After the meeting, download the "key", add your signature, and re-upload it to the server. Your new "signature" on the key will be merged with the existing key and thus available for others to expand their "web of trust"
A note to the mailing list in advance of the meeting would be helpful (if nothing else, to remind ME to bring my "fingerprint" slips) |

Here are Solomon's notes from the meeting in OpenOffice format. You may need to right-click or otherwise "save" the target as a file locally on your system before opening it. We will keep these available as long as we can.
