The Java study group looks to be off to a good start -- there were at least a dozen attendees, and a lot was accomplished.
First and foremost, a mailing list was set up so as to avoid technical babble clogging up the main discussion list. Details of the decisions made will be posted there, and if you joined the list too late to see it, don't worry, it will be in the archive.
